SURAH AL-BAQARAH is included in Al-Fatihah

Surah Al Baqarah a total of 286 verses came down in Medina which was largely revealed at the beginning of the year of the Hijrah, except verse 281 was revealed in Mina on the Hajji Wadaa '(the last Prophet Muhammad's Hajji). The entire verse from Surah Al Baqarah including the Madaniyyah, is the longest chapter of the Quranic chapters in which there is the longest verse (verse 282). This surah is named Al Baqarah because it contains the story of the slaughter of the female cow that Allah commanded to the Children of Israel (verse 67 to 74), where the Jewish character is explained in general. Named Fusthaatul-Quran (Peak of the Quran) for loading some laws not mentioned in other surahs. Alif-laam-Miim is also named because this letter begins with Alif-Laam-Miim.
