The guide psychopharmacology in your hand
The authors of this application are members of the Psychiatry Service of the Arnau de Vilanova Hospital in Valencia, who have had the collaboration of colleagues from the Hospital Pharmacy Service and the UCA of Moncada.
The work is aimed mainly at Psychiatrists, Residents in Training, General Physicians, Emergency Physicians and all those professionals who require knowledge in Psicofarma .
There are similar Apps in other languages, but as far as we know, as of today, not in Spanish. That is why we have created a repertoire based on: the technical sheets of the medicines, the Vademecum and the databases: BOT, Micromedes and Drugs.
Our objective is to facilitate the consultation of psychotropic drugs, as well as other phytotherapy substances that are used for their psychotropic effect.
We have added all the commercial names that they have in our environment in Europe, as well as in America and in some African countries.
In future editions we will complete the information with other important aspects that we face daily, in the use of Psicofarma : legal issues, use in pregnancy, power converters, presence of excipients with gluten or lactose...
We hope that the use of new technologies will help us to make it easier to consult technical issues and, therefore, will facilitate our care work.
